A mural on the side wall of Credo on Montague street. They specialize in Gluten free yummy pizzas. (Camera - Diana+) The mural uses an image of two cherubs that is very well known, a detail from Sistine Madonna by Raphael. "These cherubs have inspired legends of their own. According to a 1912 article in Fra Magazine, when Raphael was painting the Madonna the children of his model would come in to watch. Struck by their posture as they did, the story goes, he added them to the painting exactly as he saw them.^[28] Another story, recounted in 1912's St. Nicholas Magazine, says that Raphael rather was inspired by two children he encountered on the street when he saw them "looking wistfully into the window of a baker's shop."

This was the detail of the engine of  HGV stopped on City Quay. I like the way some of the shapes in this image are almost organic.

The Devil's in the Detail

I spotted this on a walkabout in Smithfield, I think it was on Green street. It was a basement window. the blurred lines are the metal caging over the window. I wonder what made such a clean hole in the glass?

Save Our Education

This is a school on Pembroke road (I didn't make note of the name), they are campaigning to save one of their buildings that is apparently going to be knocked to build a car park!!Taken with my Diana+.

The Marina in Howth, Co.Dublin. These five were moored for the weekend. Howth is one of my favourite places to go for a drive in Dublin, and it has a wealth of photo opportunities.

Dublin Fruit&Flower Market

Took these with my SLR minolta & illford b/w film as part of a project.
The Dublin Fruit & Flower Market has been around for a long time, it is one of Dublin's "best kept Victorian architectural secrets". I go down here quite a lot for photo-spiration and I never get bored.
