Every man has his price

A quirky window display in Ted Baker on Grafton street. It reminds me of the illusive golden fleece that Jason brought back to King Pelias.

Lets play with words!

Driving home, on upper Dorset street we saw this beauty! Some clever clogs had doctored the warning! A transit, for those you may not know is a type of van, although this vehicle, oddly enough was not a transit!

Happy Arthur's Day

So, today is the 2nd annual Arthur's Day. And in different locations around the city Guinness have erected temporary almost life size replicas of James's Gate. This one was on Camden st. Right about now in pubs all over the city, and the world I believe, the celebrations will be kicking off. Enjoy!

Let's be inventive

I can understand using cones to mark a space........but a MICROWAVE!? This was on Synge street south.

Something I have never seen before, a McDonald's umbrella!!

Bobbing along..... (17Sep10)

Taken from the Ha'penny bridge looking up toward O'Connell bridge. I wasn't able to find out exactly what the floating houses were for, but the Fringe Festival is on at the moment so I'm pretty sure they're here for that. Me and my sister went to see a slightly modernised version of Medea in the Samuel Beckett theatre in Trinity College, it was breathtaking.

Home is where you claim it (16Sep10)

No.47 on Abbey street, this Georgian building has been claimed by a group of squatters/ artists. There is generally a different work of art / sculpture at the front of the building each week.

Do you worship at the altar of Art? (15Sep10)

A shot of St Augustine & St John's Church on Thomas street taken from the car park of the Tivoli theatre.

Behind closed doors (14Sep10)

An alleyway on Francis street in between antique shops.

A room with a view. (13Sep10)

Soo, have been under the weather the past week including two nights in hostibal! The photo above is the view from my bed. In the foreground Elm Park golf course and behind it the start of the Dublin Mountains. Am back on my feet now, so I'll be posting a catch-up.
